At House of Bread we love collaborating. And so, when a team from GE came along today for a Corporate Social Responsibility day we were all smiles.
A team of volunteers from GE have spent the day sorting and clearing, carrying and loading our stock, which is to be moved from its current location at Beaconside to its new destination at our warehouse at Astonfields. With limited staff and resources, there is only so much that a small charity like ourselves can do, and so a CSR day for us is a godsend. The extra manpower means that our move from one premises to another has been more streamlined and efficient, and the whole process much, much quicker.
We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone from GE who has given so generously of their time this week.
