House of Bread are very excited to be involved in The Wildlife Trust’s Nextdoor Nature programme that plans to reclaim an unloved piece of Stafford. One of five projects from across the UK that were being considered by Prima magazine’s readers for their community garden project, Stafford was recently announced the winner.

Over the coming months, volunteers will begin work on the plot of land, and with guidance from the Staffordshire Wildlife Trust and funding from the National Lottery Heritage Fund, hope to turn this forgotten plot into a community garden and place of calm and beauty for local residents.

If you would like to be part of this project or have any plants or expertise to offer we’d love to hear from you.

We’ll keep you updated on the development of this exciting project as it takes shape.
