Our annual Charity Dinner, held on 22nd November 2024 at the Moat House Hotel in Acton Trussell, was a resounding success. We’ve been overwhelmed by the support and generosity afforded to us by our guests who raised a record-breaking amount through a silent auction, raffle and ticket sales. Our silent auction featured an array of unique and valuable items donated by businesses and individuals. Among the prized items were a Lake District three night stay, concert tickets, sporting tickets, signed memorabilia and exclusive dining experiences. The evening included a three course meal as well as a DJ and dancing.
In addition, our wonderful supporters and very dear friends, Rachel and Mike Bailey from Ewemove Estate Agents, presented us with a cheque for £1,900. Their support each year is humbling; for every sale they complete they set aside a sum for House of Bread. A truly heart-warming gesture!
We would also like to extend our thanks and gratitude for the continued support of the Lewis Partnership, who look after us each year, providing excellent service and a stunning venue, the Moat House Hotel, for our Charity Dinner.
The success of our Charity Dinner has already inspired more events! We have two dates for you to put in your diary for 2025, as we raise funds to continue our work to support and make a positive difference in the lives of those in need.
