Well done and a huge thank you to Cait Pilkington, who last weekend ran the Cannock Chase Forest Half Marathon in honour of her Nana, Monica Mudway.

After recently taking up running, Cait saw that there was to be a Half Marathon in the beautiful setting of Cannock Chase where she spent much of her summer holidays with her Nana. And so, with her Nana having been a supporter of House of Bread, she decided to run the half marathon to both honour her Nana’s memory and to raise funds for us.

The Cannock Chase Forest Half Marathon takes place every year, the course running through the forest on woodland trails, paths and bridleways. What a beautiful setting for a race and what a wonderful way to honour someone you love whilst raising funds for House of Bread. We’d like to wish Cait the best for future races and to thank her for raising over £1,000 for us. Thank you.
