Spring is here! At House of Bread we are looking forward to spending more time in the sunshine, tending to our lovely community garden. This week, some of our friends and volunteers have been busy getting it ready for its summertime glory.
The plot of land was announced the winner of Prima magazine’s Community Gardens project last year and has since been transformed into a delightful urban garden. It’s a great meeting place for local residents, friends and volunteers as well as a haven for wildlife. And is a fantastic example of how our ethic of collaborating with others works – we think it’s been a huge success.
