We’ve had another wonderful week being truly blessed by the generosity of so many in our community. Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) days are, for a small charity like ourselves, a true blessing. We don’t have the resources or manpower to do certain jobs efficiently, and so when volunteers choose to spend their valuable time with us we are extremely thankful.
Charity Vans and volunteers from Amey have given us their time this week, enabling us to move, quite literally, mountains of stock to our new warehouse at Astonfields. It is no small feat to move tonnes of stock in a relatively short period of time. The collaboration between House of Bread, Amey and Charity Vans has meant that this monumental task has been made achievable, enabling us to work smarter, quicker and more effectively. And our goal of moving from our current location at Beaconside to our new warehouse at Astonfields is nearly there.
Support from our partners is critical for our continued success in delivering services to the vulnerable and homeless in Stafford. We would like to send a heartfelt thank you to everyone from GE, Charity Vans and Amey who have helped us in the last few weeks. We are truly grateful to you all.
